Timothée Chalamet at the Oscars 2020

Groomer: Jamie Taylor
Outfit: Prada
Shoes: Prada
Jewelry: Cartier

Some mornings you don’t want to get out of bed, and that feeling sets the tone for the day. So we thought to ourselves: wouldn’t it be a good idea to write about a fit which was dapper but at the same time relaxed? Let’s go with Timothée Chalamet and his attire for the Academy Awards 2020.

At the time, Timothée donned a dark blue Prada minimal and sportive blouson and trousers ensemble in gabardine Re-Nylon, the newly conceived Prada gabardine made of recycled nylon.
The boxy and deconstructed jacket, with collar and cuffs, was embellished by a silk satin stripe, as well as the trousers.

He also sported a white Prada cotton shirt with covered buttons underneath his jacket, pairing it with black leather Prada side zip-fastening ankle boots with round toe.

Chalamet accessorized his chic ensemble with a vintage Cartier Tradition brooch. It was designed in 1955 with 117 diamonds, rubies, white gold and platinum.

His outfit was an example of how a man can sometimes be allowed the chance to dress in an almost informal way while attending the most important event of the award season. He looks good and appropriate, don’t get us wrong, but a woman would have had to deal with a different kind of criticism.

Nonetheless, as always, impeccable work by his groomer Jamie Taylor who is incredible at shaping and taming the American heartthrob’s curls.
