The “Barbie” movie led to a global pink paint shortage and there was also an innumerable amount of pink outfits on the red carpet for the different premieres of the long-awaited film.
Of course actor Ryan Gosling had to take his part into the madness by wearing the infamous shade to the Los Angeles premiere.
The Canadian heartthrob donned a pastel pink Gucci single-breasted peak lapel suit with a bright pink men’s shirt underneath, complete with matching pants, paired with cream Gucci lace-ups.
One of the most important aspects of the look was how stylist and Ryan‘s friend Mark Avery worked in tandem with Hollywood 3D Printing (a company specialized in solutions for design, rapid prototyping, and custom fabrication) to create a custom “E” 3D necklace for him to wear during the event.
In case you don’t know, Eva Mendes is Gosling‘s longtime girlfriend and as he stated in an Entertainment Tonight video interview, the necklace was dedicated to her. Such a nice gesture, especially since they avoid walking the red carpet together and they are religiously quiet and protective of their romance.
In some of the shots available, he also seemed to accessorize his ensemble with a TAG Heuer Carrera Date 36mm watch with a pink sunray dial, presented in a steel case with a tapered signature H-shaped steel bracelet.
Ryan‘s skin looked perfect, and the secret behind it was a good facial from Lena Braschi at Carasoin, his overall grooming courtesy of makeup and hair designer Shane Thomas, plus a fresh cut by Camilla Soole.
As I mentioned already, the Canadian actor is a no fuss guy, indeed he opts for streamlined ensembles, but he gives his all when it comes to colors, in that department he is not shy at all (and finally, we should add).
Stylist Mark Avery has been curating the actor’s image for years now and it’s evident that the two are on the same wavelength when it comes to pick what makes Ryan feel at ease and effortlessly cool on a red carpet.
Add the fun of playing with an array of colors that not many men–sadly–afford themselves and you have a recipe for the healthiest relationship between a stylist and his client.
Keep up the good work Mark!
