Fashion darling Lucy Boynton taught everyone another elegance lesson while strutting on the red carpet of the 91st Academy Awards.

For the fancy occasion, she wore a custom Rodarte off the shoulder emerald violet crêpe satin and black velvet gown with bow details. She accessorized the look with a Sophie Webster Clara clutch and Natalia black velvet sphere-heel platform sandals.

Vintage platinum and diamond Cartier earrings adorned her ears and other blings from the same brand adorned her fingers, like a true Hollywood goddess.

As always, makeup artist Jo Baker was in charge of her makeup and she wrote about the inspiration behind the look on her Instagram: “High Society Hues… Inspired by the mood in the air. It was warmer than it has been in weeks yesterday and the sun was shining bright without a cloud in the sky!! I didn’t know what look I was going to do until I walked out on her balcony and said: “Wow all of a Sunday, winter is over and the warmth is coming back!! I instantly wanted to create a look that epitomized those spring feelings. A rose garden in full bloom with golden hour sun hitting each pink petal creating a magical dream like palette and the perfect compliment for this rich and decadent Rodarte gown!!”

“Imagine Grace Kelly wandered in a Rose de Mai garden… but in Spring 2019!!!”

Chantecaille graciously wrote the complete rundown of the products Baker used, in this Instagram post.

Manicurist Julie Kandalec detailed the creation of her magnificent moon mani in this post.

Boynton obviously accompanied her beau Rami Malek to the event, but she was mainly present at the award ceremony because of her role in Bohemian Rhapsody. The movie itself was nominated in the categories: Best Picture, Film Editing, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing.

In the movie, she played the role of Mary AustinFreddie Mercury‘s former fiancée, muse and close friend.
