Pedro Pascal at MET Gala 2019

Outfit: custom Burberry by Riccardo Tisci
Groomer: Benjamin Parker Thigpen

In 2019, actor Pedro Pascal wasn’t probably that well known in the fashion circle, that’s probably why it was difficult to find any kind of information about him regarding the 2019’s MET Gala.

If we think about the exponential growth his fame has had in the last two years, it is almost unbelievable.

What we do know is that his fashion choice for the event reflected his joyful and caring personality, feeling safe enough to associate himself with Riccardo Tisci, the former Creative Director of Burberry.

No surprise there, if you think about the designer’s commitment to important causes such as LGBTQ+ rights, Civil Rights, Equality Rights (moreover, Pedro‘s sister Lux Pascal came out as a trans woman).

So let’s focus on the outfit: a custom Burberry English-fit tuxedo in beige grain de poudre wool with silk satin lapels, a white men’s shirt and a cream bow tie which perfectly matched the ensemble, finishing off with a pair of shiny lacquered lace-ups.

Sadly there was no information available regarding his stylist for the occasion (he requires the services of different ones depending on the event), it is also possible that he may have collaborated with the fashion house himself, like Timothée Chalamet is often known to do.

On the other hand, the renowned Benjamin Parker Thigpen was in charge of his grooming.
