Olivia Wilde is a prolific actress and filmmaker. Despite all the chaos and controversies that surrounded the release of her new movie “Don’t Worry Darling” she stood her ground and kept the whole situation as professional as she could.

But all these distractions should not stray us away from the incredible outfit she wore to the 79th Venice International Film Festival which took place on September 5th, 2022.

Wilde indeed looked stunning in a yellow custom Gucci gown with long train, paired with a selection of Gucci High Jewelry pieces from the Hortus Deliciarum collection.

She also accessorized the colorful ensemble with light pink Gucci ankle sandals.

Her makeup application was courtesy of Wendy Rowe, who framed the actress’ eyes with a black blown out liner and natural looking false lashes. To lighten the look, she also applied a glittery eyeshadow on Olivia‘s eyelids.

The pro used Pat McGrath Labs products to achieve the look–here is the full breakdown below.

“- SkinFetish Sublime Perfection Foundation in ‘Light Medium 12‘;
– MatteTrance™️ Lipstick in ‘Dream Lover‘;
– Legendary Wear Velvet Kohl Eyeliner;
– Dark Star Mascara;
– Skin Fetish: Highlighter + Balm Duo in ‘Nude‘;
– Skin Fetish: DivineBlush in ‘Fleurtatious‘;
– Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner;
– Mothership X: Moonlit Seduction Eyeshadow Palette in shade ‘Astral Gold Lust‘, ‘Xtreme Nocturne‘, & ‘Plum Cabaret‘.”

Hairstylist Christian Wood styled her hair in long beach-y waves with a middle part. The perfect coif to enjoy the last Summer days in Italy.

The actress and manicurist Vanessa Sanchez McCullough decided on a very natural look on the nail so that all of the attention would be on the dress, reported the nail artist on her Instagram.

She also mentioned the products she used:

“I used a couple of coats of CND Plexigel in the color ‘Oat Milk‘ and then topped them with ‘Powder My Nose‘. This combo is a go-to for me when I want a natural nude nail that allows the free edge to peekaboo through. Helps compliment any outfit.”

Wilde‘s stylist Karla Welch often likes to associate herself to powerful women, and truthfully, the blonde actress always made it clear that she would fight for her beliefs at all costs. I’m not surprised by their collaboration, I think it’s genuine and edgy when it needs to be.

Dressing the likes of Megan Rapinoe, Tracee Ellis Ross and Sarah Paulson means you have got big shoes to fill and I can totally understand why someone like Olivia would be delighted to work with someone like Welch.
