Natalie Portman sparkled on the red carpet ahead of the Vox Lux screening, during the 75th Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande on September 4, 2018 in Venice, Italy.

For the premiere, she wore a custom Gucci metallic sequined gown with plunging silver-lined V neckline and delicate black velvet bow wrapped around her waist as a nod to the 80’s theme of the movie, paired with black velvet Jimmy Chooheels and a J Box faux-embellished pearl stud clutch bag with clasp fastening at top and chain strap also from the same brand.

To complete the look she opted for Chopard Haute Joaillerie diamond earrings from the Green Carpet Collection.

If you want to know how makeup artist Eileen Kastner-Delago achieved that effortless look, you can read this interview she gave to Barbora, founder of ChiChi.

Vox Lux is a 2018 American drama film.

In the movie, Portman plays the character of Celeste Montgomery, a teenage girl from the town of New Brighton on Staten IslandNew York, who one day in school is caught up in a horrendous act of violence. As a way of working through her trauma, she performs a moving song at a commemorative service with her elder sister Eleanor (played by Stacy Martin), and this instantly becomes a national sensation.

Portman portrays the cynical, dark and adult version of the teenager, later on in the film.
