Misha Shahzada is a Lebanese-American, global makeup artist and creative based in NYC.
From a young age, Shahzada knew she wanted to work in the beauty field, but she couldn’t believe doing it professionally would be possibile for her who was coming from a small town in Northern California.
She studied Finance in college, thinking she would become a Beauty Buyer.
She first started working as a Stock Trading Assistant in NYC, but beauty was still on her mind.
At 21, Misha Shahzada decided she was going to do makeup, because her desire was to work on editorials, so she worked as an assistant on Wall Street during the week, building her portfolio on weekends.
More than a decade later, her dream has become a reality.
Masha’s work can now be seen in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, i-D, and Interview Magazine.
