Some months ago I fell in love with Kelvin Harrison Jr.‘s ensemble for the Los Angeles premiere of “Chevalier” and it was my mission to write about it whenever I felt like the time was right. Well, here we are.

For the screening, Kelvin wore a Lanvin light teal single-breasted jacket and matching pants from the Resort 2023 collection, paired with a Bode Formal Threadwork long sleeve shirt inspired by a 1930s blouse.

The ensemble was paired with black Christian Louboutin pointy William Chelsea boots, Space Eyewear sunglasses in the style ‘Zorba‘ and a David Yurman St. Anthony Amulet in 18k yellow gold complete with box chain.

Harrison Jr.‘s grooming was courtesy of Amber Burgin who made sure the actor’s skin was even and radiant.

What I think was so clever about this look is its parallel with Kelvin‘s costume in the movie, because even if it is subtle and it may be considered a reach, the colors and the feel definitely remind us of his outfit during the initial duel with Mozart (and yes, I watched the movie and I loved it).

The cream long sleeve shirt he had on for the premiere gave off the same vibe as the white ruffle shirt he had on in the movie, while the pointy shoes he wore could be considered a modern take on the round toe ones he wore for his performance.

Nevertheless, you rarely witness such good stuff on a red carpet, so let us indulge and thank stylist Michael Fisher for another lesson in impeccable styling.

On this note I’d like to suggest you to read this InStyle article in which Fisher details his working process and why–and how–he gets to work with such incredible and fashionable men.
