I love going back in time, because you see how fashion has changed and who were the people who set the trends that are replicated today.

Thanks to the success of Game of Thrones, Gwendoline Christie was (and still is) one of those individuals, so let’s see what she wore to the Emmys 2018, held at the Microsoft Theater on September 17, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.

For the event, Gwendoline wore a Giles Deacon Couture mustard silk drape sleeve dress with white Manolo Blahnik satin jewel buckle flats. For an added elegant touch, she carried a bronze satin clutch.

Christie accessorized the look with an Ara Vartanian fancy yellow & white diamonds single earring and a fancy grey, ice, white diamonds and ruby ring.

Stoj Bulic did the actress’ makeup, opting for her signature clean and hydrated complexion, with a striking, bold, defined red lip. The products used were from Charlotte Tilbury–here they are, if you’d like to replicate the look:

Charlotte Tilbury – Magic Foundation (just some drops, no shade specified);
Charlotte Tilbury – Lip Liner in ‘Savage Rose‘ to define the lips;
Charlotte Tilbury – Matte Liquid Lipstick in ‘Dangerous Liaison‘;
Charlotte Tilbury – Matte Liquid Lipstick in ‘Screen Siren‘ applied on the center of the lips.

Gwendoline‘s hair was styled in a short bob with soft wavy ends by John D., in line with the delicate nature of her long dress.

We just can’t wait to see Christie in her next projects “The Sandman” and “Wednesday“, she is such a creative soul that we are almost sure that her performances will be highly entertaining and interesting.
