Today I wanted to write about one of my favorite models who is also, coincidentally, an incredible fashion entrepreneur.
Are you wondering who I am talking about? Well, Elsa Hosk, of course–she was a vision while walking the red carpet of the CFDA Fashion Awards this year.
For the event, Hosk donned a magnificent vintage light gold Elie Saab halter sequined dress with a plunging neckline, from the Fall-Winter 2004 Haute Couture collection, paired with Christian Louboutin Condora sandals in the color ‘Leche Leche‘.
She complemented her ensemble with Saidian Vintage Jewels: a pair of 18K Gold and Diamond Earrings, a Five-Row 18K White Gold Diamond Bracelet, featuring 235 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 25.85 carats on her left wrist, and her stunning engagement ring.
When it came to her makeup, Nadia Tayeh opted for champagne glam, consisting of glistening lids, bronzed skin, abundant peachy blush and the most reflective nude lips.
At the time, the model shared on her Instagram stories some backstage shots featuring Britney Spears‘ song “Lucky“, and indeed I think Elsa referenced some of the glittery makeup in the video, elevating it even more by pairing it with a haute couture dress.
Jacob Rozenberg styled the blonde stunner’s hair in a Y2K inspired updo, with soft tendrils framing her face, the hairstyle had a romantic undertone but it also added complexity to the dress.
Rozenberg used Biolage products to achieve the look.
Last but not least, she showed off a milky French manicure, while her styling was courtesy of Dani Michelle.
Dani Michelle has an incredible eye for vintage pieces and it reflects on the work she often does with Elsa.
Their exchange of ideas is always at the center of the creative process and is a testament to the fact that Hosk is not only a model but someone who is able to precede trends and who has an incredible eye for what truly makes her stand out from a crowd of wannabes.

The CFDA is the Council of Fashion Designers of America. It was founded in 1962 by publicist Eleanor Lambert and is a not-for-profit trade association of over 450 American fashion and accessory designers.
The organization promotes American designers in the global economy. In addition to hosting the annual CFDA Fashion Awards, the organization develops future American design talent through scholarships and resources in high schools, colleges, and post-graduate schools.
The CFDA also provides funding and business opportunities for working designers. Through the CFDA Foundation, the organization supports charitable causes.

The 2025 awards were once again in partnership with Amazon Fashion and they took place on November 3 at New York City’s American Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side.
