Generally, writing about interesting menswear is not the easiest task, but thankfully, times have changed and people gradually understood that you can have fun with clothes, even if you are a man.
That being said, when I saw Dylan O’Brien attending the MTV Video Music Awards 2022, I thought you all may be willing to know more about his ensemble too.
For the award show, Dylan wore a Bode black and multicolored floral-embroidered longsleeve shirt, paired with matching pants, from the Pre-Fall 2022 Menswear collection.
The actor also completed the look with a pair of black Ray-Ban Blaze Wayfarer sunglasses, what seemed to be a David Yurman Armory necklace in 18k yellow gold, a David Yurman Wheat Chain necklace in 18k yellow gold and a David Yurman Heirloom Chain Link bracelet in 18k yellow gold.
Many David Yurman rings adorned his fingers, while his shoes of choice were a pair of Thom Browne Commando Sole Longwing Brogue shoes in pebble grain leather.
Groomer Kumi Craig made sure that Dylan‘s skin was in check as well as his hair. His face was glowy and his complexion even–that little shadow of beard fit him truly well.
I liked the fact that with the help of stylist Warren Alfie Baker, the “Not Okay” actor was able to mix high and low brands, keeping an eye on sustainability since Bode is famous for its one-of-a-kind garments composed entirely of antique textiles.
His stylist is undoubtedly one of the best in the game right now; if you liked anything Andrew Garfield wore lately, that’s your cue why.
What can we say? Looking good, doing the best for the planet.
Dylan O’Brien was invited to the award show because of his involvement in Taylor Swift‘s “All Too Well: The Short Film“. The video was indeed nominated in the categories: Video of the Year (winner), Best Longform Video (winner), Best Direction (winner), Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
