Nail artist Miho Okawara used Daily Charme Mirror Gold Chrome Powder and Nail Labo Presto Clear BaseNo Wipe Top Gel and Presto Top Gel to create those gold reflecting nails. The nail polish she used was OPI Samoan Sand–a warm beige-pink.

In The Lion King Beyoncé gives her voice to Nala.

She is also featured on the film’s soundtrack, released with a remake of the song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” alongside Donald GloverBilly Eichner and Seth Rogen, which was originally composed by Elton John.

Additionally, an original song, “Spirit”, was released as the lead single from both the soundtrack and The Lion King: The Gift–an album released alongside the film, produced and curated by Beyoncé.

The songs were additionally produced by African producers, because authenticity and heart were important to her since the film was set in Africa.
