Actress Amandla Stenberg was a stunning brown beauty at last year’s LACMA Art + Film Gala Presented By Gucci on November 02, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.
They wore a Gucci velvet dress with silk plissé bustier and cape, from the Fall 2019 Ready-to-Wear collection paired with gold leather knotted metallic Crawford sandals and a Le Marché des Merveilles ring with feline head detail in yellow gold, aged sterling silver, sapphires and rubies. They matched the outfit with a brown Tyler Ellis The Lily clutch.
Hairstylist Vernon François cut and styled Stenberg‘s hair, opting for a Geisha inspired ponytail whose braids were an accurate work of art by the amazing Lacy Redway.

For those who do not know it: notables from the art, film, fashion, and entertainment industries gather at LACMA for this Gala which honors influential artists.
Proceeds go toward underwriting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission. This includes exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming that explore the intersection of art and film.
LACMA Productions is an award-winning extension of the museum’s film initiative. Over the last years, along with the establishment of the Art+Film initiative, LACMA has dedicated resources to producing a series of short documentary films on artists. Commissioned from emerging and mid-career filmmakers, the museum’s short documentaries have earned official selections at leading international film festivals.
