Zendaya did not come to play for the premiere of “Dune” during the 78th Venice International Film Festival. Her ensemble was breathtaking, also considering how much it went with the theme and the color palette of the movie.
Coleman stunned in a custom Balmain wet-looking gown with thigh-high leg slit, crafted in sculpturally structured leather. When it was on the red carpet it barely moved, hinting at a thicker material–every doubt went away once the maison confirmed it was made out of leather; the design was inspired by the Fall 2020 Ready-to-Wear collection.
Balmain‘s creative director Olivier Rousteing crafted the gown from a model of the star’s bust highlighting the house’s couture tradition.
Zendaya adorned her neck with a Bulgari Magnifica Serpenti Hypnotic Emerald necklace which featured a staggering 93.83 cts of cabochon-cut emerald, Bulgari stud earrings, a Bulgari Cabochon Emerald ring and nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate‘ pumps in the style ‘Nat‘.
According to Lucia Silvestri, Bulgari‘s Jewelry Creative director, “the 93 carats of Colombian cabochon captured her attention for their inner strong energy and inspired her to a create a Serpenti (snake) that gracefully treasures into its jaws the incredible emerald.”
Jean-Christophe Babin, Bulgari‘s CEO, stated that “the necklace required 1,800 hours to be completed”. Its body featured pavé-set diamonds, as well as diamond baguettes and emerald cabochons, gracefully sitting around the neck thanks to the intricate artisanal constructions guaranteeing a comfortable fit. “The snake, Bulgari‘s icon, symbolizes eternal life and feminine seduction.”

Dune is a 2021 American epic science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve with a screenplay by Jon Spaihts, Villeneuve, and Eric Roth. It is the first of a planned two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert, which covers roughly the first half of the book.
In the movie, Zendaya plays the role of Chani, Paul‘s love interest (played by Timothée Chalamet).
We don’t have further information since we didn’t read the books and the film has not come out, yet.
