Zadrian Smith is an international fashion director, whose work is deeply rooted in academic research and knowledge of the fashion world. He curates customized creative solutions that speak specifically to the core of the project and talent with whom he is collaborating.

His refined approach has proven beneficial in fostering ongoing authentic relationships for his clients with luxury brands. Most notably, he has been instrumental in helping clients secure exceptional career opportunities, among which a Chanel campaign, an ambassadorship with Salvatore Ferragamo and Teen Vogue, coveted invites to catwalk shows and prestigious events in Los Angeles, New York City, London, Milan, Venice, and Paris.

On behalf of his clients, Zadrian targets renowned media titles, successfully securing both print and digital editorial opportunities with titles such as American VogueVVManHEROHEROINEPETRIe, and The Coveteur.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, Zadrian has lived and worked across the globe in Los Angeles, New York City, and London. He has an associate degree in Applied Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Whilst living in London, he completed both his undergraduate studies at the London College of Fashion in Fashion Journalism, and postgraduate studies at the Courtauld Institute of Art, where he studied 16th Century Italian Renaissance History of Art.

Officially, his career in fashion started after working with the senior exhibition team at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City to curate a costume jewellery exhibition, which led to a position at American Vogue, followed by a transfer to British Vogue.

After four years at British Vogue, Zadrian founded PETRIe, an annual, independent and global print and digital media enterprise providing a platform for freedom of expression, which he oversaw as Editor in Chief.

He regularly contributes to other titles including Teen VogueGlamourVVManHEROHEROINESunday Times Style, and The Coveteur.

Zadrian works with a carefully curated list of high-profile clients between London, New York City and Los Angeles, including Naomi Scott, Skai Jackson, Virginia Gardner, Miles Brown and Patrick Gibson.

At the end of 2020, he announced his partnership with stylist Sarah Edmiston.

They met at a listening circle hosted my Smith in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, finding common ground in advocating for human rights, in spirituality and their mutual ability to have uncomfortable conversations.
