Yumi Lee is a New York-based makeup artist.
Originally from Korea, Yumi’s passion for makeup artistry began in 1999. Building on her valuable experience in Korea, in 2008 she relocated to New York for her career and worked as a first assistant for Stephane Marais.
She worked with photographers Amy Troost, Annie Leibovitz, Brianna Capozzi, Collier Schorr, David Sims, Gregory Harris, Hugo Comte, and Steven Klein among others.
Her editorials appeared in Beauty Papers, Vogue, Dazed, Document Journal, i-D, Interview, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Yumi’s commercial clients include but are not limited to Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Zara, Sephora, Helmut Lang, Dior, and Saint Laurent.
