Sadly, Yasmin Wijnaldum is an undervalued model and she deserves more recognition, on and off the runway. Luckily, we are careful observers and when we deem something worthy, we are not afraid to make it known.

Check out what the model wore to this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards.

For the award show, Yasmin looked otherworldly in a green custom Cult Gaia shoulderless jumpsuit with ruffled sleeves.

Not only her ensemble was custom but also her Just Desi emerald and diamond jewelry, completed with green Manolo Blahnik Hangisi satin mules with a pointed toe and grey jewel brosch buckle. A marble green clutch with a curvy design was one of the many highlights of the look.

Makeup artist Nadia Tayeh did an egregious work in keeping the model’s skin fresh and poreless with just a hint of highlight mixed with a light rose-y blush on the cheeks and a barely there mascara. A light touch of gloss was the perfect combination.

Her hair was styled by Hos Hounkpatin in a sleek middle part, leaving Yasmin‘s waves tucked behind her ears, in an effort to show off her incredible statement diamond earrings.

Wijnaldum‘s custom dress was quite the surprise, but once we saw that she hired stylist Elly Karamoh, it all made much more sense. His French sensibility enhances every outfit and for a model who is willing to leave her mark, she chose an appropriate collaborator.

Let’s not forget that she is a Dutch model who knows a thing or two about European style too.
