On this freezing Wednesday, I decided to write about something more practical for a change, because I tend to focus too much on ensembles that can barely be worn outside of the red carpet and we need to be pragmatic, at least sometimes.

That’s why I thought about a very wearable outfit that I saw Willow Smith wear to the Los Angeles premiere of “Bad Boys: Ride or Die“.

Smith donned a brown, black and white Acne Studios checkered long coat with matching cigarette pants from the Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection, combined with–what seemed to be–black Naked Wolfe Stylish leather platform boots with their statement curved block heel.

One of the most interesting pieces of the fit was her black Acne Studios Multipocket bag in crinkled patent goatskin with its logo charm and bow accents at face.

Here and there, she also wore different dainty gold jewels.

Her makeup was mesmerizing and courtesy of Francie Tomalonis. The pro is very good at playing with contrasts and colors, opting for a very luminous gold inner corner, elongated eyes with little chunks of falsies applied towards the temples, brushed up brows and defined matte lips.

Willow‘s hair was styled in an Afro round do by Vernon François, who is a master at creating little masterpieces while dealing with the most difficult textures.

I am a white (extremely pale) woman with wavy hair but I’m in awe of the patience and imagination that Vernon has displayed through his work on structured hairdos for Amandla Stenberg or Adwoa Aboah to name just a few.

To match her outfit, the singer and actress showed off a short brown manicure.

Willow was styled by Cristian B M who I had the pleasure to discover thanks to her.

From what I can tell, his style is very clean and polished but with that edge that keeps you guessing and wanting for more.

His fashion choices are sexy, never boring and intentional, a breath of fresh air in an environment unnecessarily polluted by too many trends.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is a 2024 American action comedy film starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

The fourth installment of the Bad Boys film series, and the sequel to Bad Boys for Life (2020), it was directed by Adil & Bilall and written by Chris Bremner and Will Beall.

The story follows Miami detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence), who are attempting to clear the name of their late Captain, Conrad Howard, after he is falsely accused of conspiracy.

Willow attended the premiere because she is Will Smith‘s daughter and she came to support him.
