I felt badass today so I thought about translating it into clothes for you. One of the things that came to mind was the ensemble Willow Smith wore to last year’s Vanity Fair Oscar Afterparty and the insane (in the best possible way) shoes that went with it.

To the afterparty, Willow wore a David Koma crystal embroidery long-sleeve crop top from the Fall 2022 Readt-to-Wear collection, paired with black long oversize pants and black and white motorcycle gloves.

The Black beauty complemented the ensemble with black Amina Muaddi Yigit 150mm ankle boots with pointed toe and sculpted heel, Marine Serre x Vuarnet Swirl-Frame oval visionizer sunglasses with dark lenses, and a single EÉRA Big Key 18k gold black earring with white diamonds.

The pièce de résistance was of course the rare 1950’s Salvador Teran brutalist obsidian star choker supplied by the renowned Tab Vintage Archive.

MUA Francie Tomalonis created an avant-garde makeup for Willow, placing red eyeshadow on the inner corners of her eyes and individual lashes toward the ends to elongate them. To match, she also applied a bright red lipstick to tie-in with the color of the crystals on the entertainer’s sleeves.

Luckily for us, Tomalonis listed the products she used on her Instagram, here they are:

Fenty Beauty – Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color in ‘Uncensored‘;
Ardell – 3D Individuals Lashes;
– Fenty Beauty – Flypencil Longwear Pencil Eyeliner in ‘Cherry Punk‘.

There’s not much to say regarding her hair since it was shaven.

Stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo have an innate vintage sensibility and they can literally find the best kept gems for their clients. I admire their work with Olivia Rodrigo and the countless vintage Versace ensembles they have been able to pull for her.

Even when it comes to ‘little’ details like the necklace mentioned above, they prove time and time again that they are the best bet for anyone who has a thing for rare pieces of clothing or accessories.
