The Summer heat is literally killing us and some rest was due, that’s why after a few days we are here to analyze what actress Vanessa Kirby wore to attend the the Seoul premiere of “Mission: ImpossibleDead Reckoning Part One“, held at the Lotte World Mall on June 29, 2023.

For the South Korean premiere, Vanessa donned a custom Balmain Resort 2024 inspired leather red python print shoulderless dress, paired with Stuart Weitzman NudistSong patent leather black sandals.

She also accessorized the ensemble with two Cartier Juste un Clou earrings in white gold on her left ear and a Cartier Juste un Clou bracelet in white gold on her left wrist.

Kirby‘s makeup artist Jo Baker, opted for futuristic minimalist vibes, and on her Instagram, the pro explained that she is always inspired by where she is. She indeed played up Vanessa‘s skin to have a icy cool tone glaze as a highlight which is super popular and always on trend in Korean beauty.

Here are some pictures of her visual inspiration:

Baker is one of the most imaginative makeup artists and it is always a pleasure to see how a simple image or something that caught her attention that day translates into an iconic makeup look.

I’m also very respectful of the people who let her artistry shine through (Vanessa Kirby, Lucy Boynton or Natasha Lyonne are those who immediately come to mind), because they truly get what being an artist is about–not for nothing, they are three truly talented and multifaceted women/artists in their own right.

One thing we know about this look though, is that Baker used the Bakeup Beauty Tarantulash mascara to coat the actress’ lashes.

A thick “spidery” mascara is always present in Vanessa‘s looks and it’s also part of the makeup artist’s signature style.

Of course Baker had to create her own version for her line.

Another great creative who worked on this look is hairstylist Adir Abergel, who styled her hair in a side parted bun, held together by black threads and Virtue Labs products.

The “Pieces of a Woman” actress’ nails were painted in a milky, transparent hue, keeping up with the natural/glowy/lit from within nature of the makeup.

For the occasion, Kirby worked with stylist Karla Welch, but the silhouette she opted for is the same that Vanessa loves and knows works wonders for her, even under different stylists.

Figure hugging outfits enhance her model-like body and whichever color she chooses, starkly contrasts with her pale complexion. An ethereal, Victorian beauty.

We can’t wait to see her acting in “Napoleon” indeed.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is a 2023 American spy action film directed by Christopher McQuarrie, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Erik Jendresen

It is the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) and the seventh installment in the MissionImpossible film series.

In the movie, the actress plays Alanna Mitsopolis, a black-market arms dealer and broker who goes by the alias “White Widow.”

Alanna is the daughter of Max, a deceased arms dealer originally portrayed by Vanessa Redgrave from the first film.
