Tracy Alfajora is a bi-coastal makeup artist working in both New York City and Los Angeles.
Raised in Northern California, she grew up inspired by nineties skater-rave culture, San Francisco’s buzzing art scene, and above all, her mother, whose makeup Alfajora would do on a daily basis.
While studying finance at the University of San Francisco, Tracy worked part-time at the local Lancôme counter.
There she developed her technique and familiarized herself with a wide range of facial features and skin tones.
She relocated to New York in 2001 and began working in fashion, cutting her teeth as an intern at Marc Jacobs and assisting industry leaders, such as Lucia Peroni, Linda Cantello, Tom Pecheux, and Pat McGrath.
Since branching off on her own, she has established herself as a versatile artist known for her trademark natural, glowy aesthetic, playfulness and creativity.
Tracy’s work appears across editorial and commercial platforms as well as on the runway.
Editorial clients such as: Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Teen Vogue, Glamour, Numero, Interview, L’Officiel, Elle and The Last Magazine.
