Some people say: another day, another slay. And that’s what model Tina Kunakey did while attending last year’s Venice International Film Festival.

For the “Athena” red carpet, Kunakey looked otherworldly in a burgundy custom Alaïa halter neck dress with thigh high slit, probably inspired by the designs of the Spring 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection.

The model accessorized her look with an Alaïa Croco choker necklace in brass, Bulgari diamond stud earrings, a Bulgari Serpenti diamond bracelet and a pair of Alaïa plexi heels.

Harold James is a talented makeup artist and hairstylist, indeed he styled Tina‘s hair in a sleek, knotted low bun, adding to the chicness of her French ensemble.

Her makeup was skin focused, soft and understated–James used earthy tones to achieve the look, here are the key products he used (slightly edited for clarity):

– Saro de Rúe – Hyaluronic Serum;
– Hourglass Cosmetics – Ambient Soft Glow Foundation (no shade specified);
– Fenty Beauty – Setting Powder (no shade specified);
– Byredo – Color Stick in ‘Coleoptera‘ and ‘Destroyer for the eyes.

The nails were painted in a creamy hue, because of course the dress was the star of the show.

I loved Sarah de Mavaleix‘s editorial eye for this red carpet moment, especially since Kunakey gives her best when she attends big fashion events such as the Cannes Film Festival or the Venice Film Festival. Those occasions always bring out her French je ne sais quoi.
