I’ve never written about this event in the past, but incredible outfits deserve a special treatment. Also, this article will shine a light on the fashion force that actress Taylor Russell is destined to become, judging by her latest red carpet appearances.

So here she is, attending the screening of “Bones & All” during the 66th BFI London Film Festival at The Royal Festival Hall on October 8, 2022.

Russell looked breathtaking in a Schiaparelli Haute Couture short jacket with sharp shoulders in black wool crepe, embellished with tone-on-tone black grapes embroideries, and a champagne double satin corset attached to a silk crepe skirt, decorated with two black velvet bows.

The look was part of the Fall 2022 collection.
She completed her ensemble with Christian Louboutin Jenlove satin slingback pumps (the ones pictured below are made of leather, but the model is the same).

The hat she wore was courtesy of Stephen Jones Millinery, and it was already part of the attire as we can see from the Maison‘s lookbook.

If you’d like to know how this specific couture dress was created, check this article by Harper’s Bazaar.

The actress’ makeup was poetically described by her makeup artist for the occasion, Bea Sweet, and I couldn’t find more appropriate words to describe it, here they are: “A Femme Fatale burnt pepper powder matte lip with a brown soft blur edge, darkened core and elongated eye makeup.”

Her hair was another expert creation by Peter Lux, and it consisted of a very short sleek bob. She is probably the only one among us who could pull it off. Her nails were natural, since the dress was the star of the show.

Lately Taylor has shown on the red carpets that she knows her body, she knows what works for her and how much she can play with shapes and look otherworldly without ever seeming gimmicky or less sensual.
