After graduating from Avant-Scene in Paris, Makarova relocated to New York.
Today, her high-profile clientele includes Irina Shayk, Stella Maxwell, Ashley Smith, and Carlotta Kohl.
She has contributed to publications like l’Officiel, Glamour, Vogue Russia, Tank, Harper’s Bazaar, and Marie Claire.
Makarova has worked on top fashion shows for J. Mendel and Tommy Hilfiger and collaborated on major brand campaigns for Tom Ford, Hugo Boss, Biotherm, Bergdorf Goodman, and Redken.
She was recently tapped to work on the American Ballet Theatre’s 2018 campaign.
