The series “The Last of Us” has been all the rage lately and for many it was a new way to experience a beloved video game which first came out in 2013.

A lot of people may also know that game to series adaptations have not succeeded many times but apparently HBO managed the impossible this time around.

One of the series guest characters was Storm Reid who of course made sure to be present at the Los Angeles premiere on January 9, 2023.

For the event, Reid wore a custom Prada look consisting of a black logo bralette underneath a grey single-breasted long jacket with flap pockets and a see-through below the knee skirt.

The elements of the look probably took inspiration from the designs of the Spring 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection, mixed with others from the Fall 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection.

The Black stunner accessorized her ensemble with a pair of diamond huggies and a chain diamond necklace. The majority of the jewelry she wore with the outfit were staples of her wardrobe, and we could easily identify a gold Cartier Love ring among them.

Prada open-toe satin platform high-heel sandals elevated the look even further, perfect for her business chic attire.

Makeup artist Paul Blanch used his Snatched by Pauly Blanch sculpting tool to awaken the actress’ face and to depuff it, he then proceeded with a Maybelline Tattoo Studio Ink Pen Eyeliner to create an intricate graphic liner and the Super Stay powder foundation as base (no shade was specified though).

If you have an idea of the imagery of the Last of Us videogame (the plot for the series originates from it), once you observe her liner you may be reminded of a barbed wire, where the little dots resemble the knots–at least that’s how I interpreted it. Defined plum-ish lips kept the look grounded without making it heavier.

The hair was styled by Shawnna Courtney, who kept Storm‘s flyaways in place and framed her face with a medium-sized braid.

Her wig was installed by Los Angeles master extensionist Dwain Thomas who followed Storm‘s request “to have it look like it’s hers”, that’s why he went for a “Traditional Install“.

As always, the “Euphoria” actress’ nails were always taken care of, indeed she didn’t miss the chance to show off her square shaped, light pink manicure.

Stylist Jason Bolden has crafted a strong image for Reid, who always turns heads on the red carpets thanks to the youthful but also structured ensembles she is able to pull off. Her relationship with Prada is dynamic, perfect for someone who values her education (she is now attending the University of Southern California) while acting in big productions nonetheless.

Definitely a woman with her priorities in place.
