Stephane Lancien is a French freelance hairstylist.
Lancien is a L’Oréal Paris hair artist and one of the most in-demand ones today.
Every season he concocts some of the best hairstyles for runway shows in Paris, Milan, London and New York. Internationally known, he has worked with some of the greatest photographers and magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar to name a few.
Born in Vannes in 1964, he attended the École des Beaux-arts de Quimper before attending a hairdressing school–once he moved to Paris he worked under famous late hairstylist Jean-Marc Maniatis who introduced him to the world of studios, and that’s where it all started.
