Born and raised in Seoul, she believes that to be beautiful is to like one’s self and feel confident. In her sixteen years of experience as a professional makeup artist, enhanced by a background in studying fashion design and working on films, Lee has created a diverse world of beautiful people.
She has created this world for not only her celebrity clients, but also for clients such as Nordstrom, Eileen Fisher, Target and Robinsons-May, and in editorial spreads published in Vogue, Marie Claire, Esquire, Oprah Magazine, Shape, and other prominent magazines.
As a student of Korean meditation, Lee exudes a calmness that allows her to use a light hand in creating clean, fresh looks that highlight an ethereal beauty in all of her clients. Ever so versatile, Lee also knows how to convey edge and attitude in rock music videos, as she has done with Linkin Park, Weezer, LL Cool J, and the Smashing Pumpkins.
She can transform the girls next door into sultry sirens vamping out on the covers of Revolver and Guitar World magazines.
