We are back with a beloved heartthrob: Sebastian Stan. This past May, we were captured by his daring ensemble for the MET Gala and we’d like to throw in the conversation our own take.

Stan was seen in a full Valentino PinkPP Collection look, straight from the Fall 2022 Ready-to-Wear runway, featuring a wool boucle jacket, chiffon shirt, and loose wool trousers.

He also paired it with matching Valentino Garavani One Stud Sneakers and Moscot The SHTARKER gold frame sunglasses with Big Apple Fade Custom Made Tint™.

As it often happens, Jamie Taylor did his grooming using Augustinus Bader and KEVIN.MURPHY products.

Many pointed out that the actor did not follow the “Gilded Age” theme of the night, and in recent years a lot of people attending the Gala avoided the theme entirely, be it for partnership reasons or because they simply did not like it.

What we can say is that not everyone is fashion obsessed and of course it comes with the territory when you become famous, but you should also think that such personalities are under the pressure of looking their best every day when they do press tours and so on.

Sometimes some of them do frankly prefer wearing something interesting (like what Sebastian wore to this specific event) but capable of catching attention anyway, even if not on theme. It’s a personal choice and I don’t think they should be put to shame for it.

I’ll probably always prefer a Blake Lively or a Rihanna on theme, but I can objectively appreciate an outfit worn by a celebrity even if they don’t follow it.

I think nothing could ever take away the craftsmanship behind an atelier creation, the seamstresses who work on it, as well as the tailors who do their best to make their clients fit into the clothes. There’s plenty of stuff to look forward to anyway.
