Today is a good day to write about a premiere, case in point: actor Sam Claflin attending that of “Daisy Jones & The Six” at the TCL Chinese Theatre on February 23, 2023 in Hollywood, California.
For the red carpet and screening, Claflin donned a cherry red Paul Smith single-breasted blazer, paired with matching slim pants.
Underneath it all, he wore a black Calvin Klein ribbed tank top, paired with R.M.Williams black Chelsea boots and his own vintage watch.
Sam‘s grooming was courtesy of longtime friend Barbara Guillaume, who used the Circa 1970 Beauty line to achieve a lit from within glow.
For this particular occasion, Claflin worked with stylist and costumier Tom O’Dell. I’ve actually discovered him some time ago while he was preparing Martin Freeman for the press tour of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and I thought that he would have been the perfect fit for someone who’s a fan of suits and great casual style.
I think Sam totally hit the mark here, I hope they’ll keep on collaborating in the future. Let’s see what they cook up together.
Daisy Jones & The Six is an American musical drama streaming television miniseries developed by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
Set in the Los Angeles music scene of the late 1970s, the series charts the rise and fall of the fictional titular rock band through a documentary style series of interviews with the members and footage of concerts and recording sessions, complete with vocals by series leads Riley Keough (as Daisy) and Sam Claflin (as Billy, founder of The Six).
