Today we’ll bring you Kenergy thanks to Ryan Gosling attending the world premiere of Netflix‘s “The Gray Man” held at TCL Chinese Theatre on July 13, 2022 in Hollywood, California.

For the big event, Gosling wore a mint custom Gucci single breasted peak lapel blazer with gold buttons, paired with a light yellow/lime green striped men’s shirt underneath.

He also donned matching lighter pants and he accessorized everything with a TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 Automatic watch with silver dial and black strap, plus Worn Over Time jewelry.

Ryan‘s grooming was courtesy of Lucy Halperin.

Interestingly enough, I was able to find an interview which helped contextualize this look that many saw as a continuation of his role in the movie “Barbie” that is now in post-production.

Ryan‘s stylist Mark Avery indeed told Paper Magazine: “Ryan has such an amazing sense for color and fabric and detail so Gucci was the ideal partner. As a stylist it was a dream to get to be involved from the ground up in bringing such a beautiful look to fruition.”

Avery also explained why he feels so lucky to work with the famous actor: “It’s great to get to work with someone with such a huge amount of goodwill and appeal as Ryan has but the more interesting part of working with Ryan is that he is the driving force behind all the best ideas. It’s a privilege to get to say I style Ryan, but the truth is I assist and Ryan styles Ryan. What can I say… The guy just is that cool.”

All in all, the “First Man” actor can surely play it safe on an award show red carpet, but press tours and premieres can and should be occasions in which one would feel inclined to play more with patterns and colors. And he is definitely doing it as he has always done.

The Gray Man is a 2022 American action thriller film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay the latter co-wrote with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney.

In the movie, Ryan Gosling plays the role of Sierra Six, a CIA black ops assassin who is forced to go on the run after uncovering incriminating secrets about the agency.

Apparently, the film is intended to start a franchise based upon Greaney‘s Gray Man novels; there will probably be more movies to come in the future.
