On this fine day I decided to write about someone wearing an ensemble that caught my attention recently: Ryan Gosling.
A master at uniform dressing, the actor is able to wear the same style repetitively but injecting it with colors that make it playful and never boring, a true reflection of his personality.
For the London premiere of his latest movie “Project Hail Mary“, Gosling wore an Amiri burgundy and white, peak lapel pinstripe blazer with matching pants and a gray and red Amiri men’s shirt underneath.
The pieces were carefully selected and put together by Ryan‘s stylist and friend Mark Avery, who apparently picked them from the Fall-Winter collections of 2025 and 2026.
The eye-catching accessory with which he accessorized the outfit was the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer, that according to Esquire is “a contemporary spin on a Seafarer design from 1949, which featured a unique functional twist that made the historic timepiece so distinctive: a dedicated tide display beside the 9 o’clock marker”.
The actor finished off the look with a pair of Amiri black croc loafers with gold accents.
The grooming was courtesy of Lucy Halperin, the usual go-to professional for the “Barbie” heartthrob.
As always, Gosling was dressed by costumer and stylist Mark Avery, who I think is the perfect fit to translate into clothes the actor’s charming elegance on and off the red carpet.
Avery knows how to select outfits that are pleasing to the eye but also comfortable on the body–he’s truly one of the few professionals who can make menswear exciting for a wider audience.
