Canadian actor and blond heartthrob Ryan Gosling looked dreamy while attending the 2017’s Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 8, 2017 in Beverly Hills, California.
He was nominated in the category Best Actor, Comedy for his performance in La La Land, the movie itself was nominated for Best Picture, Comedy or Musical, Best Original Song and Best Original Score. Director Damien Chazelle was nominated for Best Director and Best Screenplay and co-star Emma Stone was nominated for Best Actress,Comedy. Needless to say, they won pretty much everything–exactly seven honors–breaking the record for most wins for a single film at the event.
Gosling wore a custom Gucci made-to-order grosgrain one-button New Signoria cream jacket with black tuxedo trousers, black velvet bowtie and black velvet patent lace-ups. A little red flower peaked through his jacket pocket.
Notably a private person, Ryan‘s acceptance speech will surely make you shed a tear, you can watch it in the fourth video down below.
Worth mentioning: also the people who worked on his look were very difficult to find, but we managed successfully.
La La Land is a 2016 American musical romantic drama film written and directed by Damien Chazelle.
In the movie, Ryan Gosling plays Sebastian Wilder, a jazz pianist who falls in love with Emma Stone who plays Mia Dolan, an aspiring actress, while pursuing their dreams in Los Angeles.
Chazelle conceptualized the film while attending Harvard University. After moving to Los Angeles in 2010, he wrote the screenplay but did not find a studio willing to finance the production without changes to his design. Following the success of his 2014 film Whiplash, the project was picked up by Summit Entertainment.
