With sunny days and clear skies, one wanders with the mind and ends up thinking about past events in different times from the ones we are living right now. Also, with The Eternals approaching, a certain actor came to mind.
It now occurred to me, that it’s been almost two years since Richard Madden attended the screening of “Rocketman” during the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival on May 16, 2019 in Cannes, France.
So let’s reminisce a bit and get lost in those wonderful blue eyes of his.
For the festival, Madden wore a made to measure Emporio Armani cream silk tuxedo, white dress shirt with Mother of Pearl buttons and silk bow tie; the ensemble was accessorized with a white gold Chopard L.U.C XPS 1860 Officer watch.
Black shiny lace-ups finished off the look.
Groomer and hairstylist Charley McEwen used skinbetter science® to prep Richard‘s skin–you can check out some backstage shots in the gallery above (see if you can spot the other products McEwen used on the actor).
Rocketman is a 2019 biographical musical film based on the life of British musician Elton John.
The film follows John in his early days in England as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music through his musical partnership with Taupin (an English lyricist, poet, singer and artist, best known for his long-term collaboration with the singer, having written the lyrics for most of his songs).
The film is titled after John’s 1972 song “Rocket Man”.
In the movie, Richard Madden plays the role of John Reid, a former music manager, known for being the manager and former lover of singer Elton John as well as for managing the British rock band Queen.
