Randy Stodghill is known for his innovative knowledge in hairstyling and his talent in hair has quickly become sought after among some of the biggest names in fashion and show business.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Randy was in his third year of studying fashion design when a chance meeting would lead him into the world of hair. Needing a summer job, he connected himself with one of Paul Mitchell’s leading hair stylists, Carol Morrow. There he trained under her for three years as her apprentice, where he was taught the Paul Mitchell concept of innovative hair and fashion-forward hair trends. It wasn’t long before he was ready to unleash his new found talents onto the salon floor, where he mastered his skills for five more years.
Still having a love for fashion, Randy made a daring move to New York in 1998. There he would blend his love for fashion and his new love for hair. While working with some of the top photographers, make-up artists and music execs, he was well on his way to becoming a force in the business. For three years, Randy worked for top designer’s shows for Fashion Week in NY and London, as well as editorial and commercial work.
Not long before capturing the eyes of young Hollywood and the music industry, Randy relocated to Los Angeles, where his career flourished. It was not long before Randy started amassing his own list of celebrity and music clientele such as Angela Bassett, Anika Noni Rose, Meagan Good, Christina Milian, The Pussycat Dolls, The Kardashians and Mel B.
