Rachel McAdams‘ outfit for the 2016 “Doctor Strange” premiere has been living rent free in the depths of my mind for a very long time, so it was about time that I shared with you my admiration for what the blonde actress wore for the occasion, on October 24, 2016 at Westminster Abbey.

McAdams was a vision in a wonderful Elie Saab black sheer one-shoulder gown with gold and cobalt blue embroidery from the Fall 2016 Couture collection.

The Couture ensemble was paired with a H.Stern ring and H.Stern earrings in Noble Gold 18K from the Genesis collection (a collection created to celebrate the brand’s 70 year old history, representing celestial phenomena) and black Giuseppe Zanotti Betty open toe platform sandals (it was almost impossible to gather if they were satin, velvet or lacquered, hence why the model in the graphic will be purely demonstrative and not 100% accurate).

Hairstylist Ken O’Rourke opted for a segmented ponytail that (according to Harper’s Bazaar) he achieved using scraps of vintage lace and Charles Worthington products (O’Rourke mentioned the ‘Diamond Shine‘ on his Instagram).
