I think model Precious Lee‘s beauty is out of this world and her features make her one of the most gorgeous women working in the field.

I love the way she carries herself, her confidence and what she represents, therefore I couldn’t miss the opportunity to write about her red carpet appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Afterparty this year.

Precious wore a nude custom reflective one-shoulder dress with a thigh-high slit that she co-created with her stylist Rae Boxer, paired with–what seemed to be–bronze Jimmy Choo satin Metz 100 square-toe sandals (same model as pictured below, not the same color).

Her accessories consisted in a pair of Le Vian Asor 12 earrings, a Noudar gold choker, a Le Vian Yrbi 1291 multi-row diamond ring on her left ring finger, multiple Noudar diamond rings on both her middle fingers and on her right index finger among others.

Equally important was her clutch that definitely caught our attention, and upon further research, we found out that it was a Judith Leiber 60th Anniversary Celebration Egg Effervescent Bag encrusted with large, chunky crystals.

Her makeup was truly something else, and people would probably say: “Her face card never declines”.

Lee‘s celebrity makeup artist for the occasion, Kenya Alexis, went for a soft smokey eye and glossy lids that matched the glow on her cheekbones. A reddish blush was wisely matched to her ombré, perfectly defined lips.

If you’re curious about the products Alexis used to achieve said glow, she told her followers that it was the Danessa Myricks Dew Wet Highlighting Balm placed on top of the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil highlighter in ‘How Many Carats?!‘.

When it came to the hair, Keshaun Williamson used The Hair Diagram Bold Hold Active Glue Adhesive to set the model’s wig which he styled in a wet looking do using The Ashley Marie Collection Mousse and Styling Gel. The wig was from Kendra’s Boutique, dyed with a custom cinnamon color.

The Black model’s long square manicure was courtesy of Jolene Brodeur.
The pro used a La Par Jade Nude Gel Polish in a light brown shade, applied on Aprés Nail transparent tips.

I have recently discovered stylist Rae Boxer who is mostly known for her impeccable editorial work. In this instance, her work with the famed plus size model let her qualities as a fashion consultant shine through, which led to the creation of an ensemble that was innovative and extremely evocative of the model’s exuberant personality.
