I wanted to conclude this week with an annual event that is bound to take place in a few days: the Academy Museum Gala.

I revisited last year’s edition for you and I’d like to talk to you about what actress Phoebe Dynevor wore for the occasion.

Dynevor donned a black Louis Vuitton crystal-embroidered dress with a silk muslin skirt and black satin Louis Vuitton pumps.

She also complemented her ensemble with diamond-studded Louis Vuitton High Jewellery Fantasy earrings in platinum and yellow gold and a diamond-studded High Jewellery Fantasy ring in platinum and yellow gold.

Her makeup was courtesy of Nikki DeRoest who of course used her own makeup line Ciele Cosmetics to even out her pale complexion, the juicy reddish lip was a vampy Naturium gloss, defined with the Make Up For Ever ‘Endless Cacao‘ liner.

If you also would like to know more about the beauty treatment she underwent in preparation for the night, check this post by her facialist Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine.

David von Cannon styled the actress’ hair in a slightly parted do with romantic waves falling on her shoulders; her manicure was oval-shaped and painted with a very light pastel pink nail polish.

Phoebe was styled by Emma Jade Morrison in an outfit that was a bit more out of the comfort zone for the “Bridgerton” actress who always goes for a more understated attire.

The ensemble was very Louis Vuitton per se, because one can detect a soft ‘armor vibe’, a mix of patterns and materials at the top, plus a simple, tender feeling at the bottom–very multifaceted, very Phoebe.

This year they honored Paul MescalRita Moreno and Quentin Tarantino on October 19, 2024.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the gala raised more than $11 million to support the exhibitions, education initiatives and public programming at the L.A. museum, which opened in 2021.
