Peter Savic

Peter Savic has been styling hair for many years making him one of the most sought after hairdressers in the world.

The gamut of his clientele ranges from Madonna to Sophia Loren.

Born in Yugoslavia and raised in Vienna, Austria, Peter’s training was quite extensive.

He attended The Vienna Hair Academy for three years enabling him to learn the basic fundamentals as well as the creative aspects of hair and wig-making. Upon graduating, he worked at the most prestigious hair salon in Vienna for several years. In 1983, Peter left Vienna and headed to Los Angeles where a new chapter in his career began.

His talents were discovered by LA’s top agents at the time, and such photographers as Herb Ritts, Steven Klein, Ellen von Unwerth, Peter Lindberg, Matthias Vriens, Terry Richardson, Stephan Sednoui, Jean Baptiste Mondino, and Ruven Afanador, among others, requesting his services for such top publications as Vogue, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle as well as for advertising campaigns for Versace, Calvin Klein, Guess, Revlon, Lancôme, L’Oréal, etc.

When Peter began working with Madonna, his career escalated to new levels of recognition. He took her from blonde to brunette to red, long to short, straight to curly.

Some of the projects he worked on with her were “Express Yourself”, “Vogue”, “Rain”, “Cherish”, “Frozen”, as well as creating the look for the “Blond Ambition” tour.

Peter has also worked with several talented actresses on many feature films such as Winona Ryder in “Reality Bites”, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Bridget Fonda in “Single White Female” as well as Academy Award winner, Kim Basinger for the look he created in “8 Mile”.

Peter Savic is known for his inventive creativity. From fantasy to reality, he is an artist that goes beyond just cutting hair.

Peter currently resides in Los Angeles.

His clientele includes: Kim Basinger, Susan Sarandon, Diana Ross, Celine Dion, Renée Zellweger, Kesha, Christina Aguilera, Cameron Diaz, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Lange, Hilary Swank, etc.
