I know you have been waiting for this article and it is my greatest pleasure to deliver it to you.

For those who don’t know what I mean, well, you should know that actor Pedro Pascal is one of the most beloved human beings on this planet and since Valentine’s day is approaching, consider this my present to you.

Of course from my point view, this piece of writing stems from my appreciation for the ensemble he wore to this year’s Golden Globes, something striking in its simplicity.

For the award show, Pedro donned a black custom Bottega Veneta long-sleeved turtleneck shirt with white accents, paired with black smart pants from the Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection.

The “Mandalorian” actor complemented his ensemble with black Bottega Veneta Highway leather boots and custom Oliver Peoples Sixties Sun glasses with what look like Kona gradient frames (his lenses were clear).

Bottega Veneta is an excellent choice, be it for its craftsmanship or for the immense styling possibilities the brand offers to its customers.

There are certain labels that are often considered ‘safe bets’ when it comes to menswear or custom creations, but I honestly do not align with their policies and the way they treat their employees and it makes it really difficult for me to even appreciate their products.

This is to say that I am glad that there are now more brands that I can identify as solid competitors and as examples of the rare quality of Made in Italy (mind you, I am from Milan indeed).

But, there is also no red carpet greatness without the meticulous work of a team, and that team included the lovely groomer and hairstylist Courtney Ullrich-Mooney, who tamed Pedro‘s flyaways, styling his hair in a wavy slicked back do.

If you look at his hands carefully–arm sling aside–you may have noticed that there was something written on his right hand’s nails and it was the writing ‘OUCH’.

The amusing manicure was courtesy of @nailpaint.christina, who already worked with him on other occasions such as last year’s MET Gala.

According to the pro, it was the actor’s idea, and this tells you so much about his playful nature and how he doesn’t take himself too seriously in the slightest.

If there were more Pedros in the world, this would probably be a better place.

Julie Ragolia styled him for the night and this gives me comfort because I know that she is someone who can’t be bought by big corporations and who puts the vision first, something that happens very rarely in the fashion business, especially lately.

What I see here is a group of genuine people who collaborated together for the sake of talent, humility and friendship, and there is nothing better and more admirable than that.
