Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was a guest at the Emmys 2019. He wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana suit, probably inspired by this pattern from the Spring 2020 Menswear collection.
He completed the look with an IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar watch–its value was of $53,700.
Unfortunately, Nikolaj didn’t win in the category in which he was nominated: Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, because he lost to his colleague Peter Dinklage. He was nominated with Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Jonathan Banks(Better Call Saul), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Michael Kelly (House of Cards) and Chris Sullivan (This Is Us).
The series won 12 awards, 10 of which were picked up at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards (commonly awarded to behind-the-scenes personnel such as production designers, set decorators, video editors, costume designers, cinematographers, casting directors, and sound editors the week prior) and only two were picked up on the telecast.
