They both were dressed in Dior and Nick specifically in a men’s suit from the Fall 2019 Menswear collection (not in the color pictured).
Groomer Marissa Machado described the inspiration behind the look and the process of her work on him with an Instagram post: “Nick Jonas‘ look was a nod to Louis XIV. I created this look for Nick using a soft finger wave technique in his hair as a play on the over the top curly wigs. I wanted his skin to really glow under the lights. Using highlighter on the Red Carpet was definitely first. The facial hair was also a very important factor in this look. We all went back and forth on it, but in the end a clean shave plus mustache and lip patch won and I was beyond thrilled! This was the most fun I’ve ever had creating on a men’s grooming job.”
For jewelry, it was quite the feast: a Borgioni 18K rose gold, diamond Baguette multi earcuff .87cts diamonds, a Chopardnecklace from the Precious Lace Collection, a ring from the Green Carpet Collection and a watch from the Imperiale Collection–all in diamonds in 18k white Fairmined gold. A David Yurman sparkly ring on his right ring finger, a Djuladiamond ring on his right index finger, a L’Dezen ‘Seria’ stretchy bracelet and Marli Deco Huggie earrings.
On his feet, sparkly silver Louboutin Oxford shoes with a little bit of a heel.
