I’ve just finished watching the series “Mary & George” and the obvious consequence for me was to write here something related to it in any shape or form.

Since one of his protagonists, Nicholas Galitzine, is doing the rounds lately, also promoting his next project “The Idea of You” at SXSW, I thought I might add something to the collective hysteria around him.

So let’s talk about Nicholas Galitzine attending the London premiere of “Mary & George” held at Banqueting House on February 28, 2024.

For the event, Galitzine wore a black Fendi peaked lapel long coat with a light blue striped men’s shirt underneath and black smart pants.

To complete the look, he opted for–what seem to be–black Christian Louboutin Capitano Oxford shoes in calf leather and a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Small Second watch with a silver grey dial and gray and black strap.

Groomer Petra Sellge styled his hair in an effortless, just out of the shower do, and made sure his skin was hydrated and ready for the cameras while hairstylist Joe Mills was in charge of the actor’s haircut.

Nicholas was styled by Felicity Kay.

Honoring his contract as a Fendi global menswear ambassador, the “Bottoms” actor went for a laid back approach to styling, slightly mirroring his attire–or lack thereof–in the series.

He generally dresses more buttoned-up, so I guess it was intentional, as I think was the pearl earring: a subtle nod to the one he wears in the series.

I appreciate when themes from movies or series are brought on the red carpet, because in my book it signals intention, a conscious choice to keep up a narrative, a combination of real life and art.
