Today I’d like to spotlight a brand that probably many of you have never heard before and that’s the beauty of being in charge of the editorial line of a website that is entirely your own.

For instance, just last week I saw Megan Thee Stallion attending the New York premiere of the new “Mean Girls” musical and I immediately took out my phone and started looking for every little information about her gown–in a few seconds you’ll see why.

In true hot girl fashion, the Black beauty donned a custom figure hugging Julian Mendez Couture mermaid dress designed by Natalia Barzilai, with a plunging neckline till below her bellybutton, embellished with soft pink gems.

In some paparazzi shots she can be seen wearing glittery ankle sandals and she also adorned her ears and fingers with opulent jewelry featuring the pink and purple tones present in her gown.

Megan‘s makeup was the talk of the night, courtesy of her makeup artist Lauren Elise Child.

A light purple eyeshadow was applied on the entertainer’s lids and the bridge of her nose was contoured for maximum definition. The pro also intensified Megan‘s eyes by applying on them a generous amount of thick eyeliner and dramatic false lashes. Her lips were defined with a trait of brick red lip pencil and filled-in with a creamy lipstick.

The “Sweetest Pie” singer was also kind enough to share with her followers–on her Instagram stories–the products that her MUA used on her, of course by Revlon (since she is an ambassador).

Here they are if you’d like to replicate the look:

Revlon – Super Lustrous Lipstick Creme in 044Bare Affair‘;
Revlon – Lustrous Lipgloss in ‘Pinkissimo‘;
Revlon – Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Quad – ‘Decadent‘;
Revlon x Megan Thee StallionBig Bad‘ Face & Eyeshadow Palette;
Revlon – ‘So Fierce Big Bad Lash‘ Mascara;
RevlonColorstay Eyeliner Pencil.

Channeling a blonde and Black Regina George, Megan‘s hair was styled by Kellon Deryck in a voluminous side parted wavy do that caressed her shoulders and part of her chest. She was a total stunner.

One of the most “Mean Girls” coded things about this overall look was her manicure created by nail artist Coca Michelle.

Michelle applied a holographic chrome base on the rapper’s signature lipstick-shaped nails, to then add crushed Swarovski crystals on them, mimicking the shape of the letters used on the cover of the infamous Burn Book, a book created by The Plastics to start rumors, stories and gossip about all the girls (and several guys) who went to North Shore High School.

For the premiere she was styled by Eric Archibald, a New York native celebrity stylist, creative director and costume designer.

Mean Girls is a 2024 American musical teen comedy film directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. from a screenplay by Tina Fey.

It is based on the Broadway musical of the same name, which in turn was based on Mark Waters‘ 2004 comedy film, both written by Fey and based on Rosalind Wiseman‘s 2002 book Queen Bees and Wannabes.

The film’s soundtrack features the track “Not My Fault” by Reneé Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion, which was released on December 15, 2023 as a single.
