We definitely need some levity from time to time, that’s why today I wanted to write about actor Matt Bomer attending the Los Angeles premiere of the series “Mid-Century Modern“.
From what I gathered online and from the press tour, this comedy series will probably take you back to those carefree ones from the ’90s, the ones you could watch while eating at the table with your friends and smile, without worrying too much about many things that would eventually trouble you in the future.
I also still remember the days in which Matt Bomer was seen as “too gay” to portray Christian Grey in “50 Shades of Grey” by American author and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis (you may remember him as the author of the black comedy horror novel “American Psycho“).
And yet, here we are, after all these years, witnessing a circle of gay men have the time of their lives while trying to uplift all of us (I’m sure Bomer is undeniably elated after decades of cross looks).
For the premiere, Bomer donned a teal Caruso double-breasted peak lapel norma suit in wool and silk with welt pockets, paired with darted classic-cut pants from the Spring-Summer 2025 collection.

He also accessorized the look with–what seemed to be–a gold John Hardy Box Chain necklace, a gold Box Chain bracelet on his right wrist and a matching Rata Chain band ring, black pointy boots, plus a black and gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Enamel “Dragon” timepiece.

Matt‘s overall grooming was courtesy of Rachel Burney who used RŌZ Hair and IGK Hair products to style his hair in a masterfully coiffed wavy do while using products by Dieux and 111SKIN for his skincare and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics for his makeup.
His face is literally one of a God but Burney was clearly able to emphasize what was already there by making it look effortless and light.
Bomer was styled–as usual–by Warren Alfie Baker, your go-to stylist if you are enthusiastic about colors and well crafted suits.
He will scour the internet to deliver you the best dressing choices according to craftsmanship and cuts and I can assure you that as a woman who finds menswear not that appealing, I always do a double take whenever Warren shares his latest works on his Instagram.
