On this Wednesday, we are frantically gearing up for this year’s Vanity Fair Oscar Afterparty, that’s why we are bringing back what our new entry Madelyn Cline wore to the famed event last year, in an effort to fill the blanks of our coverage.

To party the night away, Cline wore a green Givenchy turtleneck figure-hugging backless dress from the Fall 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection, paired with green Givenchy floral pumps.

She accessorized it with Tabayer Oera earrings in white gold, paved with diamonds, a Tabayer Oera ring in white gold and diamonds on her right middle finger and another one on her left index finger.

Madelyn is an otherworldly beauty and she was made up by Patrick Ta’s former assistant Jen Tioseco using Chantecaille products.

She coated her lids with a glittery gold eyeshadow that she blended out towards her temples with an earthy color and then applied the gold on her lower lash line to tie everything together.

Tioseco defined the lips with a rose-y creamy lipstick, to keep everything natural and airy.

Here is a breakdown, courtesy of the pro:

– Pure Rosewater Face Mist;
– Bio Lifting Serum;
– 24 Karat Gold Firming Moisturizer;
– Rose de Mai Eye Lift;
– Lip Potion;

– Future Skin Gel Foundation in ‘Shea‘;
– Perfect Blur Finishing Powder in ‘Light/Medium’;
– Real Bronze in ‘Sirena‘;

Hairstylist extraordinaire Danielle Priano styled the “Glass Onion” actress’ hair in a half-up, half-down wavy ponytail.

Priano used Function of Beauty haircare and Bellami Hair extensions–the brands and her were kind enough to share with their respective followers a detailed tutorial that we’ll report here for your convenience:

“Step 1: Use Function of Beauty Custom Wavy Hair Shampoo + Conditioner with Thermal Protection Hair Goals to protect her strands from hot tools.

Step 2: After hair is cleansed and wet, add Custom Straight Hair Leave-In Milk Mist throughout ends along with Custom Zero Gravity Styling Mousse from roots to ends for lasting movement and hold.

Step 3: Blow dry hair with the PSX Danielle Large Round Brush.

Step 4: Apply one pack of Bellami Hair Silk Seam 20” 180G Silk Seam Clip-In Hair Extensions in the shade Cool Brown/Dirty Blonde (17/18) to create density and luscious volume. Apply extensions starting at the nape, putting two upside down. Working on the sides put clips vertical facing back toward the pony.

Step 5: Find the middle part with a comb and then brush all the hair neatly back into a center back pony, leaving out the hairline, securing with one PSX Danielle Medium Hair Elastic to add an extra pop. Use hair from the top of the hairline to pull back and lay over top of the pony.

Step 6: Spray the pony with Custom Soft Bounce Texturizing Spray for an easy and long lasting bounce paired with diffusing hair for those effortless textured waves!”

Nail artist Zola Ganzorigt created for her a milky, almond shaped manicure, to go with the overall streamlined vibe of her ensemble, adding just a touch of chic to it.

As always, Madelyn was styled by Mimi Cuttrell, who is always one step ahead when it pertains to trends and has the finger on the pulse of the fashion business.

What I like about her way of styling is that it’s modern, effortless and true to her clients’ personality. It does help that she only styles young adults so it feels close to me and what I personally would wear if I were famous.

Cuttrell is beloved by many, in fact, even Ariana Grande has chosen her to style her recently, further proving her power and appeal in the industry.
