Lynda Esparza was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
Esparza discovered a deep admiration of the bold styles of entertainers and unique varieties of music videos at a young age. But, it wasn’t until a part-time job at a local day spa amidst a full-time college schedule that she discovered her hidden talent for makeup artistry.
In a fearless attempt to combine her two passions, Esparza, at 22 years old, packed her bags, left home, and headed straight for Los Angeles to attend the Sunset Gower Studio Makeup Academy.
It wasn’t long after completing hair, makeup, and special effects education that Esparza advanced her career from the small sets of student and independent films to working with some of the entertainment industry’s top musicians, actors, photographers, and directors.
Some of her most notable clients today are Zayn Malik, Amanda Gorman and Issa Rae.
