Lona Maria Vigi is a native of Detroit who grew up inspired by the energetic allure and creativity of fashion, music and art.
Her early education in photography at the Center for Creative Studies provided critical visual understanding of form and composition before she became drawn to more tactile expressions of creativity.
Her subsequent shift into hairstyling was seamless, and she soon relocated to Los Angeles to begin her career.
In her early days of working in entertainment, Lona never turned down an opportunity. The unique exposure she gained to the personalities behind the most celebrated faces in Hollywood further inspired her process. Her work became characterized by the ease she strove to foster in her clients before they stepped out on the red carpet.
