Lisa Aharon is a New York-based makeup artist.
She launched her career as a makeup expert with Chanel in Vancouver while working in the film industry, then relocated to Toronto in 2004 to focus on editorial work. Working with Dick Page’s 2005 Fashion Week team cemented Lisa’s love for fashion, and in 2007 she moved to New York to assist Aaron de Mey.
Today, her celebrity clientele includes Florence Welch, Rachel Brosnahan, Anna Kendrick, Chloë Moretz, Gwyneth Paltrow, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, and M.I.A.
Aharon has contributed to top publications including Vogue, ELLE, Flair, W, Harper’s Bazaar, WWD, Interview, Dazed & Confused, and Clash, as well as major brands and designers such asAlexander Wang, Club Monaco, Rebecca Taylor, Kensie, CKU, Bloomingdale’s, Hugo Boss, Belstaff, Lands’ End, Shopbop, Edun, and Dove.
