Here you have another throwback from the 2019’s MET Gala. This time with Lili Reinhart and her beau Cole Sprouse.

She wore a custom-made look by Ferragamo sewn entirely by hand. It took a total of 120 hours to construct.

In an interview with InStyle, Paul Andrew—the newly appointed Creative Director for Ferragamo, revealed: “I began my study of the gown’s construction re-imagining the idea of camp and what that meant when translated to a modern sense of evening dressing. Marrying feminine waves of dramatic color with masculine bespoke, tailored shorts spoke to both the evening’s theme and had an inherent sense of balance that is truly Ferragamo.”

Makeup artist Adam Breuchaud used skyn ICELAND to prep her skin and Maybelline as his makeup of choice—click here for all the steps.

Hairstylist David Stanwell used Dove hair products to incorporate that wonderful work of art into Lili’s hair—you can read all the steps to achieve it in this Elite Daily interview.
When it comes to the inspiration behind it, he was very clear: “The inspiration for Lili’s look was a Marie Antoinette/Versailles vibe. We wanted an editorial fashion forward version of a take on something quite grand.”

Nail artist Steph Stone used an Essie nail polish in the shade muchi, muchi to complement the soft tones of her makeup.
