We’re back with TIFF throwbacks and this time we’ll write about Lady Gaga attending the ‘A Star Is Born‘ premiere during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival at the Roy Thomson Hall on September 9, 2018 in Toronto, Canada.
Gaga stunned in a magnificent Armani Privé black strapless column gown from the Fall 2018 Couture collection. The dress featured a black veil embellished with Swarovski crystals, attached to her ruffled sleeves and sequined pillbox hat.
The ‘A Star Is Born‘ actress accessorized the look with a mismatched pair of Chopard earrings: a 26-carat heart-shaped diamond earring set in white gold and a 25-carat pear-shaped diamond from the Garden of the Kalahari collection.
According to The Adventurine, “the large stones in each earring came from a 342-carat piece of rough that was found in the Karowe Mine in Botswana on April 12, 2015. The gems are the finest quality there is with an official rating of Type IIa, D-Color, Flawless. When Caroline Schedule, a co-president of Chopard, purchased the exceptional diamond, she named it the Queen of Kalahari after the desert location of the mine.”
In some shots we can spot a pair of black custom Giuseppe Zanotti lace-up boots.
On her left ring finger she was wearing her engagement ring donated to her by her–then–fiancé Christian Carino.
Pay attention to the intricacy of her hairdo, it is incredible to see the attention to detail even for events that are relatively smaller in relation to award shows–her makeup was flawless thanks to makeup artist extraordinaire Sarah Tanno who used Marc Jacobs Beauty products (so rest assured that they were incredibly long lasting and vibrant).
Her nails were chic and polished, the outfit was definitely the star that day–the drama was palpable.
